Is Rochdale MP Simon Danczuk "auditioning for a part in Shameless" asks one seriously disgruntled local resident following the emergence of a video in which the sleazy MP gives advice on sex to middle aged men who want to meet more young girls in a "cringe inducing" interview for satirical UK news website, 'News Thing'.
Su Jones said: "Dear God, is this what represents our town?"
Janice Illingworth added: "He is obviously very thick skinned and has no shame."
In the interview, Mr Danczuk claimed, resplendent with smirk on his face, that local people understand his 'peccadilloes' - as the interviewer described his behaviour. That too was greeted with derision by local residents, an ever increasing number of whom are vocal in venting how much they despise "this social pariah".
