Storm flooding affecting roads

Lightning over Rochdale
The exit slip road at junction J20 of the M62 is closed due to flooding and traffic is slow westbound at J20 A627(M) Rochdale.
Milnrow is flooded at the bottom of Kiln Lane.
Pilsworth Road, Heywood is flooded.
All Metrolink lines are currently suspended.
Fire operators have taken around 50 weather related calls for Greater Manchester since the storm started - please only call 999 in an emergency.
A spokesperson for United Utilities said: "Due to the storm over parts of North West we are experiencing higher call volumes, we have extra operators deployed to assist you, bear with us."
