Patients invited to nominate hospital and community NHS staff for awards

Date published: 12 September 2016

The Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust is inviting the public and its members to nominate hospital staff and teams in this year’s Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust ‘Patients’ Choice Award’ category.

The Trust runs Rochdale Infirmary, The Royal Oldham Hospital, North Manchester and Fairfield General Hospitals, and healthcare services in the community.

The Patients’ Choice Award gives the general public and the Trust’s 12,500 members the opportunity to say ‘thank you’ and publicly recognise the outstanding care and treatment given to either them, a relative or close friend. An independent judging panel will select the winner.

If you have been a patient or visitor at one of the Trust’s hospitals or received treatment by one of the Trust’s community healthcare teams, you can nominate a staff member, clinical or non-clinical, by submitting an online nomination via the Trust’s website at:

The closing date for nominations is midnight on Monday 17 October 2016.

The winner will be announced at the Trust’s Staff Awards evening on 18 November.
