The Yesteryear Festival at Collop Gate Farm in Heywood is packed with fun-filled rides, activities and displays, and hundreds of people enjoyed the first day (Saturday 10 September).

Military vehicles and tanks were in action, traction engines, vintage tractors and cars on show, a model display, vintage dancing displays, a fabulous funfair, lawnmower racing, stalls and exhibitions, plus entertainment from Cotton Town Hot Club and a beer tent.

The Springhill Hospice Team were serving afternoon teas in the Naafi Cafe, with Springhill pizzas cooking up a storm outside.

Profits from the festival, in its fourth year and bigger and better than ever, are this year being donated to Springhill Hospice.

The fun continues on Sunday (11 September) 10.00am until 5.00pm, Collop Gate Farm, Heywood OL10 2PX - next to The Birch Hotel.
