Man and woman charged in connection with baby death

A man has been charged with murder and has been remanded in custody to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (10 September 2016).
A woman has been charged with causing or allowing the death of a child and has also been remanded to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (10 September).
The charges relate to the death of a baby in Rochdale on Thursday 8 September 2016.
Reporting restrictions on the identity of those charged are in place, hence the man and woman cannot be named.
