Mia Maddix raised over £200 for The Little Princess Trust

Date published: 08 September 2016

Mia Maddix has raised £212 for The Little Princess Trust following her hair donation on Saturday (3 September).

She had her hair cut from 26 inches reaching down her back to a shoulder length style. Her donated hair measured a total of 12 inches.

The Little Princess Trust requires a minimum donation of seven inches to contribute towards making a real-hair wig for children receiving treatment for cancer.

Mia has never had short hair before, but really likes the new cut.

Proud mum, Kathryn Maddix said: “I think she was surprised at how short it would be, but she really likes it and loves how smooth it is.

“She’s really happy to have helped such a worthwhile charity.”
