Staff at Wireless CCTV preparing to run 'The Gauntlet' for Springhill Hospice
Staff at Wireless CCTV are aiming to raise £1,000 in donations for Springhill Hospice by taking on The Gauntlet Games 5k obstacle course around Heaton Park, Middleton on Saturday (3 September).
The team will be lead by Jon Coluccio and consists of James Thornhill, Dean Allen, Daniel del Soldato, Leisa Tully, Max Harris, Daniel Stokes, Adam Patel, Karen Yates and Katy Furlong.
The group have chosen to raise funds for Springhill Hospice to highlight the free services and support offered by the Hospice.
Marketing Manager, Daniel del Soldato said: “Most of us have had friends or relatives who have used the services provided by hospices. It’s important to show how much they rely on donations.
“We’re definitely looking forward to taking part, despite not being in peak physical condition.
“We plan to start and finish together as a team, no matter how long it takes us.”
The Hospice receives around one third of its required costs in funding from the NHS. The remaining costs are met through fundraising and donations from the public.
