PossAbilities heading for London in search of top award

Heywood based PossAbilities has been shortlisted for a top award by Social Enterprise UK.

The social enterprise is one of six organisations shortlisted for the Social Enterprise of the Year Award. 

PossAbilities Chief Executive Rachel Law said: “To be on the shortlist is amazing. We are only two years old, yet the things we are achieving on a consistent basis are a credit to all of our staff.

"Each year some 300 companies vie for this award so to be in the final six is a real accolade – win or lose. We hope to win, but if somebody else does, then we know that they must be very, very good, and it will just inspire us to get better.”

The winner will be announced at London’s Grand Connaught Rooms in special ceremony on 28 November.
