Neigh to Cancer event raises thousands for Cancer Research UK

An annual dressage event held by the Littleborough-based Three Amigos FUNdraising group to raise money for Cancer Research UK has had it most successful year yet.

Horses and their riders were dressed in pink for the popular event and raised £3,884 for Cancer Research UK – almost double that of last year’s £2,000 figure.

The event attracted 83 entries and additional team entries at the Cockshot Dressage, Warrington.

  • Intro A: Lara Tattersall riding Cracker. 
  • Prelim 7: Georgia Clare riding Northlands Royal. 
  • Performance Prelim 12: Abigail Clare riding Vicki. 
  • Novice 28: Darcus Lever riding Vicarage Broken Arrow.
  • Winning team: Tots and Teeth - Holly Berton, riding Shanlock Vera, Georgia Clare riding Notthlands Royal Performance, Lyndsey Guest riding Dzl Roman B and Darcus Lever riding Vicarage Broken Arrow. 

Kath O’Donnell, of the Three Amigos FUNdraising group, said: “We had lots of support and would like to thank everyone who competed, attended and helped.
