Three people in a road traffic collision on the A627M
Three people were involved in a road traffic collision on the A627M in Rochdale in the early hours of Saturday morning (13 August).
Fire engines from Heywood and Chadderton joined a technical response unit from Ashton at 1.36am at the scene of the collision, which involved a car and a lorry.
All three people were able to rescue themselves and were out of the vehicles when fire crews arrived.
Fire crews used a longboard, trauma bags and salvage sheets as they helped the North West Ambulance service to care for those involved.
The crew were in attendance for about 90 minutes but the incident isn’t thought to be too serious.
