Date published: 09 August 2016

Zen Internet’s chief executive, Richard Tang, will be running to raise funds for Springhill Hospice at this years’ Cologne Half Marathon in October.

Mr Tang, Zen Internet’s chief executive, will join more than 27,000 runners on 2 October, has already started training for the event.

He said: “I’ve never been a runner but I like a challenge and it’s great to be able to support Springhill Hospice, Zen’s charity of the year.

“I’ve got my Bupa Half Marathon for Beginners training programme stuck to my fridge door and I am roughly working my way through it.

"The Cologne Half Marathon draws runners from across the world so I will be proud to represent Rochdale while raising funds for a great cause like Springhill Hospice.”

Mr Tang has set up a page where supporters can donate to Springhill Hospice:
