Demi Wallis saves pocket money for charity project

Date published: 05 August 2016

Ten-year-old Demi Wallis has been saving her pocket money to buy packets of colourful thread – so she can make and sell friendship bracelets for charity.

Demi, from Syke, has been so busy making the colourful accessories that she says she wants to give as much money as possible to The Little Princess Trust for children less fortunate.

Proud mum Charlene Wallis said: “So far Demi has made 20 friendship bracelets and anklets and isn't stopping there. As well as learning new and different skills of making different designs for the bracelets and anklets, Demi is excited she is helping a fantastic charity many people still don't know about.

“I’m very proud of her.”

The Little Princess Trust makes and supplies one human hair wig for a girl or boy suffering from a hair loss related illness. Donations of human hair are accepted by The Little Princess Trust which enables the charity to carry out its work.
