Council 'serious case review' into Charlotte Baron’s death
Date published: 02 August 2016
The council is investigating the death of 14-year-old Charlotte Baron, who was found hanged at her home in February.
Council officers today (2 August) confirmed that a serious case review is underway in connection with the teenager’s death, but that no further comment can be made until an inquest has taken place.
Although the case has been opened, it has been put on hold until October.
Charlotte’s body was discovered by her brother in her home on Saturday, 20 February, and later identified by her mother.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
