Queensway car smash leaves driver unharmed

The driver smashed into a concrete post and flipped his car over

A lucky driver who smashed into a concrete post and flipped his car over on Queensway walked away unharmed.

Police attended the scene close to Team Karting on Sunday morning (17 July) to reports that the car had flipped on its side shortly before 11.00am.

Officers helped the Silver Daewoo car get back on its wheels.

The driver is said to have walked away with no injuries and no one else was hurt in the incident.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “The Silver Daewoo had crashed into the concrete post and flipped over but there are no records of injuries.”
