Holy Family Year 10 students attend the Bury College Post 16 taster day
Year 10 students at Holy Family attended the Bury College post-16 taster day.
The event allowed students time to learn more about the post-16 subjects that are available to them, including ‘A’ levels and vocational subjects.
The purpose of the event is to help them make the right choices, so that when they embark on their post–16 studies they have made informed choices that will allow them to be happy, contented and successful learners.
Students chose to follow either an A level or vocational pathway and also got to experience college life, including finding their own way to college and home again.
The event was organised as part of the careers education planned programme in school.
