A “heavily intoxicated” man was arrested after climbing on the top of vehicles and garden sheds and causing a disturbance in Wardle.
Police were called to the scene on Alderbank at 5.00am on Tuesday morning (12 July) after calls that the 31-year-old man had been causing a scene before falling through a garden shed, causing himself minor injuries.
Despite making his way out of the shed and trying to run away, officers caught up with him and he was later detained.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: “Officers were called to the scene on Alderbank at 5.00 following reports that the heavily intoxicated man was causing a disturbance and was climbing onto vans and sheds.
“He became violent and was later detained by officers.”
The man has been bailed and will later appear at Rochdale and Bury Magistrates Court.
