The Salvation Army’s Employment Plus held an open afternoon to promote the help available for getting into work and general skills improvement.
Mayor Ray Dutton and Mayoress Elaine Dutton supported the event, which is designed to assist employees or potential employees in writing CVs, getting interviews and developing skills such as using the internet.
Employment Plus co-ordinator Roy Briggs has had 40 years’ experience in teaching including adult education and works to help those who need it.
