School leavers dazzle at prom party

School leavers from Matthew Moss made quite an entrance at the Riverside venue in Whitworth as they arrived to enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime event on Saturday (9 July) - stepping out of the school hall and into their leavers’ prom.

Young men suited up and the young women dazzling in exquisite prom gowns arrived at the venue in prestigious cars with teachers and parents there to meet them – and offer umbrellas due to the heavy rain.

Bethany Rigg, who with friend Rebecca Buckett was driven to the prom in a Mercedes E250 by Rochdale’s Junction 21 chauffeur service, said: "I really enjoyed the prom, I had a brilliant time with everyone and enjoyed every moment. I can honestly say it was one of the best days of my life. The car was fantastic and it was an unforgettable night that I will treasure."
