Happy birthday to a real 'magic' Circle

Date published: 02 July 2016

Heywood, Middleton & Rochdale Circle (HMR Circle) celebrated their fourth birthday last week at a capacity event at Hopwood Hall College, Riverside Restaurant.

Circle members enjoyed a glass of 'fizz' on arrival followed by a hot buffet prepared by the students at Hopwood Hall College. All attendees also received a custom made HMR Circle cupcake by Red Butterfly Bakery.

The event was made more magical by the presence of local close up magician John Holt who baffled and amazed in equal measure.

The event culminated with HMR Circle director, Mark Wynn, assisted by office manager Leanne Chorlton and practical co-ordinator Kim Wah Ho, presenting a series of certificates to members who have attended over 100 or 200 Circle events.

Certificates were also presented to a host of Circle volunteers.

Mark Wynn said: “Everyone at Heywood, Middleton & Rochdale Circle would like to thank all those who have helped us become a real local success story since our incorporation in June 2012.

“We hope we can go on to become even better in the future and continue to make a real positive difference to the lives of our members.”
