Beech House students visit London and Paris

Date published: 29 June 2016

Beech House School students have returned from a week in London and Paris.

Students enjoyed a residential school trip which stopped off at both capitals.

On the way to London students made magic in the Harry Potter Studio tours and put their wizarding skills to the test.

They continued on to London and were dazzled by the lights of the West End where they saw the acclaimed Charlie and the Chocolate factory.

The following day students began their journey to France, after a quick stop at the Natural History Museum.

Students used their French skills at meal times to order food.

The next two days were a rollercoaster ride –literally - spent at Disneyland Park and the Walt Disney studios. The students enjoyed meeting childhood favourites and the live stunt shows and rollercoaster rides before beginning the return trip.

Stopping at Montparnasse Tower and climbing to the 59th floor to enjoy the panoramic views of the city and the students found themselves looking down on the Eiffel Tower.

A spokesperson for the school said: "Staff were pleased with the behaviour of children and even received comments from the public about the politeness and good behaviour of our students. We were so proud of our students throughout the trip. A thoroughly enjoyable experience for all."
