Rev Sharon Jones, bids farewell this weekend
Our vicar, the Rev Sharon Jones, bids farewell this weekend as she prepares to leave us after ten years as priest-in-charge to take up a new appointment as Team Rector at Saddleworth.
We will have a farewell party on Saturday, July 2 from 4pm in the parish room, when there will be presentations and speeches. All are welcome. Do join us for Afternoon Tea, and bring the children.
On Sunday, at 9.30am, Sharon will lead her final Sung Eucharist, a United Service, and again everyone is welcome for what is sure to be a blessed and uplifting occasion, both spiritually and emotionally, as her decade of devotion to St Andrew's and the local community comes to an end.
