Holy Family has been awarded the Gold award for sports. This means that the quality of the sports provision at Holy Family is of high quality. We are so proud of this achievement.

Our sporting success continues with our Year 3/4 Tri-gold team gaining bronze medals. Our Year 4/5 boys football played superbly at a recent tournament, narrowly losing 1 – 0 in the final and gaining silver medals.

Staffing Changes for September 2017

It is with heavy heart that we have to announce Mr Sidebottom’s decision to leave Holy Family at the end of the school year. He will be really missed by all staff and pupils and we wish him all the best, as he continues his career in Derbyshire.

We would also like to congratulate Mrs Evans who will be the new Deputy Head Teacher in September. We have a new member of staff – Miss Croghan.

Non-Uniform Day

Thanks to your generosity we were able to donate a huge amount of food to the Rochdale Food Bank, as part of non-uniform day last week. We really appreciate all the effort parents went to and hope to be able to report the total amount of food donated shortly.

Would just like to report what a fantastic time Year 6 have had at Robinwood Residential this week. We are very proud of the excellent behaviour and the way the children have challenged themselves over the last few days.
