Fire crews at the Spread Eagle
Police are investigating a suspected arson attack after a fire destroyed an outbuilding behind the Spread Eagle pub last night (21 June).

It was confirmed today (22 June) that fire crews decided to call for police assistance after suspecting that the fire was a "deliberate ignition".
Greater Manchester Police has confirmed that an investigation is now under way, and that they are appealing for anyone with information to come forward as soon as possible.
Anyone with information should call the police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
