Is Rochdale a borough of 'Brexit' supporters or will we vote to remain?

EU Referendum
Are you in or out? This is a question that needs no further explanation in the run up to the looming EU referendum. It’s a question steering conversations in the pub, between strangers in bus stops and around the dinner tables of homes and businesses.
With just a day to go until the big vote, the debate is heating up, but what does the voice of Rochdale have to say about Europe?
Rochdale Online took to the streets to find out, and the feedback was mixed, but voting for “Brexit” insist that they are in the majority in the borough.
Out of 19 people asked, 10 of them insisted that we are better off out of Europe, with seven hoping to remain, and two who say they are still undecided.
All people were picked at random around Rochdale town centre.
Here is where they side:
Majid Khan and Abdul Salam – “We have to stay in the EU for the economy”
Khalid Javed - “We have to stop people coming here to make money and then disappearing”
Altayeb Mohamed, Issa Mahgub, Hassan Issa - “Leave is the only option”
Patrick Glenn - “More people should vote remain”
Muhammed Arshed - “I’m voting remain”
Stuart Hallworth – “It’s not an easy decision – I’m still on the fence”
John Patton – “There are a lot of us still undecided”
Nick Wilson – “I think we should remain”
Alex Nicholls – “Absolutely leave”
Steven Baiton – “Leave for me”
Norma Hughes – “It’s time to leave”
Mr Norlabeek – “Remain”
Anonymous – “I think most of Rochdale wants to leave, but I am 100% remain”
Margaret Lloyd, Barbara Shaw and Pat McCaughey – “We all want to leave the European Union”
