Mohamad Iqbal and Najum Mohammed Iqbal cleared of trafficking-related charges

Two Rochdale men who were charged in connection with a trafficking case have been found not guilty.
Mohamad Iqbal (born 23/08/1963) of Belmont Way, Rochdale, and Najum Mohammed Iqbal (born 28/12/1973) of Harrison Close, Rochdale were both charged under Section 71 (b) of the Coroners and Justice Act 2009 – “to knowingly require another person to perform forced or compulsory labour”.
They were acquitted at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court on Tuesday 14 June.
