The M6 Theatre Company visited to perform ‘The Lost Story’ to our Key Stage 2 classes. Years 1 and 2 were visited by a retired Police Sergeant, David Law. He came to talk to the children about the experiences he had in his job when working in Milnrow. He answered lots of interesting questions from the children.

The school football team played Crossgates on Thursday. Well done with a 1 – 0 win.

After school club information: Tuesdays are out Karate sessions. Wednesday we have a Computer Club and Line Dancing sessions. Thursday we are continuing with a Cookery Club. This will last for four weeks and our Girls’ After School Sports Club has started up again on Fridays.

Scholastic Book Fair have been in school all week. We raised £610 towards new books for school. A big ‘Thank You’ to all the parents who supported us with this

The Cray Junior Activity Club meets at Moorhouse Primary School on Tuesdays 4.15-5.45 p.m. All primary school age children are welcome. £1 per session. Arts/dance/pottery and many more activities to do.

Writing Awards: This week we gave £5.00 gift vouchers to some very talented writers – Chelsea Taylor, Joel Munn, Samuel Holt, Layla Rushton and Harry Bowker. Well done to you all.
