Summer Fair at The School House Nursery raises £600 for NSPCC

Date published: 13 June 2016

The School House Nursery held its first public event since its comprehensive refurbishment by its new owners, Fisherfield Childcare, om Saturday.

Attractions included a bouncy castle, raffle, cake stall, tombola, food and drink stalls, face painting and Calypso music from a steel band.

The event raised just over £600 for Fisherfield Childcare’s chosen charity, the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC).

Nursery manager Sabrina said: “It was lovely to see all the families have some Fisherfield fun.

“I would like to thank the parents for their support, all the staff who have given up their Saturday to raise money for the NSPCC, and the people and companies of Middleton who have been so generous with their donations, including Max Spielmann, Amigos, Simply Flowers, Applebys, Hair Tek, Sun and Beauty Spot, Fusion at Middleton, Handmade Burger Co, Munchies, Hey Little Cupcake and Lords of Middleton.”

Fisherfield Childcare owner Nicky MacGill said: “The day was a great success. The team worked so hard to prepare for it and the parents and children all had a lovely time.”
