Friday 10 June

Rochdale North Police announced that the area has suffered seven burglaries since last Friday whilst Rochdale East areas has suffered a staggering 16 burglaries. Officers urge everyone to do everything in their power to make their home secure enough to keep them out.

Thursday 9 June
Greater Manchester Police is set to welcome 70,000 people Manchester ahead of the annual Parklife music festival at Heaton Park.

Police expressed concern for heavily pregnant Kirsty Allen from Rochdale. She was last seen on the Wednesday (8 June) and is described as a white female, 5ft tall, short hair, brown eyes. When last seen she was wearing black leggings and a black and white striped top.

Wednesday 8 June

Police are appealing for the public’s help to find a man called Kyle Newlands, wanted for attempted murder after a stabbing in Rochdale. At around 9:50pm on Sunday 5 June 2016, a 41-year-old man was involved in a confrontation with a man known to him on John Street, Rochdale.

Tuesday 7 June

Children at Roch Valley Raiders BMX Club have spoken of their sadness after cruel thieves broke in and made off with £5,000 of pounds worth of bikes.

Six people have been put behind bars for selling shoddy and unusable kitchens on behalf of businessman Vance Miller – who still walks free and lives in Asia.

Monday 6 June

Police are appealing for help to identify a man in connection with three burglaries in Rochdale.

At around 2am on Friday 3 June 2016 police were called to reports of a burglary on Manchester Road, Marland.

Sunday 5 June
A man was taken to hospital after a fire took hold of a Middleton flat on Sunday evening (5 June). Three fire engines attended the scene Broomfield Park after calls that flames had taken hold of the bathroom of a first floor apartment.
