Matthew Moss High School (MMHS) came runner-up in 'The Outstanding Access School or College Award'.
The finalists were invited to The Houses of Parliament and MMHS.
The University of Manchester nominated MMHS.
The school work heavily with the university in enrichment and engagement activities, and is a member of SUPI (School University Partnership Initiative - only eight schools/colleges are part of SUPI)
Working with schools within Greater Manchester, SUPI seek to inspire the next generation of researchers by bringing secondary and sixth-form students, research staff, and teachers together.
