Rugby

Our year 5 & 6 rugby team took part in a competition held at St Cuthbert’s. They played amazingly well and were undefeated throughout the competition. They won gold medals which were fully deserved.

They also won another competition last Monday held at Cardinal Langley, again going undefeated throughout the competition An amazing achievement.

Tri-golf

On Tuesday children from years 3 & 4 went along to Kingsway Park to take part in a tri-golf competition. They had lots of fun and enjoyed every minute of it. We have qualified for the final in June.

Football Years 1 & 2

Our year 1 children were invited along to Rochdale AFC to play on Spotland’s pitch.

This was an amazing and once in a lifetime opportunity for our children. After working hard in PE lessons, their hard work and team spirit paid off. They won the group without losing a single game or conceding a goal.

Unfortunately we lost in the semi-final 1-0. As ever we are proud of them, their team work, attitude and their impeccable behaviour.

Football Years 5 & 6

Our year 5 & 6 team played against Sacred Heart on Wednesday. We were able to field 15 players on the day, which shows our strength in depth.

As always they showed great team spirit and togetherness.

We won the game 4-0. Goals scored by Sean Greaves-3 and Kyle Jones-1. Man of the match was Sean Greaves our hat- trick hero.
