Mardi Gras at The Flying Horse

Crowds packed The Flying Horse on Friday night for an extraordinary evening of drag queens and exotic cocktails, as part of the Mardi Gras celebrations.
Cocktails shaken up and handed out as prizes from a temporary bar at the back of the pub.
Local rockers Boomin took to the stage.
Owner Ben Boothman said: “We wanted to do something a little bit different and that’s what it’s all about. The drag queen really made the night and managed to walk around for hours in those huge heels, so hats off to him for that.
“Thanks to everyone who took part – another cracking night at the Flyer.”
