Charity Golf Day raises over £2,000 for NSPCC

Golfers at the NSPCC Charity Golf Day at Whittaker Golf Club
The Littleborough District of the NSPCC raised £2,047 at a charity golf day at Whittaker Golf Course on Friday 13 May.
Teams of four played in a golf competition to win a selection of golfing prizes. There was also pie and peas and a raffle afterwards.
A spokesperson said "The weather was clear and everyone involved had a fantastic time on the course and refreshments after.
"Thank you to Whittaker Golf Club and all involved for this yearly event."
