Lee Rigby Memorial Ride

The Royal Regiment Of Fusilier Drummers, the Liverpool Corps of Drums, the Mayor of Rochdale, Ray Dutton and the Rigby family and attended the Lee Rigby memorial ride, organised by Rigby's Guardians, from Rochdale Town Hall through Heywood and Middleton to the cenotaph for Lee Rigby's memorial service on Sunday (22 May).
The Imperial Corps of Drums started the ride at 12 noon.
On arrival at Middleton Memorial Gardens, Military Padre Reverend David Grey lead a service following a speech from Mayor Dutton.
Wreaths were laid by the Rigby family, the Mayor and representatives from other organisations.
After the service there was entertainment and refreshments at the Gardeners Arms.
