Brownies enjoying a tour of the Cadbury factory in Bourneville
Brownies from Littleborough, Smithybridge and Wardle, aged between seven and 10, learnt all about the history and production of chocolate during a trip to the Bournville-based Cadbury World.
Activities included chocolate tasting, a 4D chocolate adventure, and green-screen photography.
Emilia Booth, age eight, said: “I loved going to Cadbury World with brownies because we went into the 4D cinema where the seats moved.
"We also found out about the history of Cadbury.
"The best bit was eating all the chocolate.”
The group’s leader, Amy Bamford, said: “It was great to see so many brownies from the area enjoying a fun packed day trip together. The trip to Cadbury World was a chance for the girls to enjoy each other’s company and discover something new.
"All the girls told me how much they enjoyed themselves and they can’t wait to go on another brownie adventure.”
