Understanding Mental Health and Wellbeing course

Date published: 19 May 2016

Participants from organisations across the Borough attended an Understanding Mental Health and Wellbeing course at the Multicultural Arts and Media Centre (MAMC).

Pam Rogerson, Scheme Manager for Guinness Care & Support, said: “It’s good that I have done this course and feel I have achieved something. I have not been to school for 40 years so this is kind of a big achievement for me.”

Mohammed Sarwar, CEO of MAMC, said: “This is the first time MAMC has delivered an accredited course on Understanding Mental Health and Wellbeing. We had a lot of demand for the course and we will likely run it again, depending on the funding.”
