Melanie Caffrey, Fundraiser at Springhill Hospice and organiser of the Woman of Rochdale Luncheon, was delighted to accept a donation of £1,000 from Mike Goldrick Window Blinds to support the Woman of Rochdale Hospice event.
The event saw over 200 ladies entertained by Original Calendar Girl Trisha Stewart and two singing fire fighters before Milnrow born Margaret Hodgkinson was crowned Rochdale Woman of the Year.
Ms Caffrey said: “I’m delighted to accept this money on behalf of the Woman of Rochdale event and committee. It’s wonderful that companies like this want to support the hospice in different ways and this money will definitely be put to good use.”
Debbie Goldrick, of Mike Goldrick Window Blinds, said: “The event was fantastic this year and we are really happy to support this to help raise as much money for Springhill Hospice as possible, it’s an amazing charity.”
