Greenhill Methodist Chapel's 150th year
This year marks 150 years since the opening of the present church building and Greenhill is celebrating with several events throughout the year. They're looking forward to welcoming old and new friends to celebrate with them.
The activities planned for the year include:
- Saturday 23 April, at 11.00 am Spring Fair with Grand Bazaar of new and pre - loved goods, followed by potato pie lunch. Free admission (lunch tickets £4)
- Sunday, 1 May 2.30pm, Anniversary Celebration Service with preacher Rev Paul Martin, Chairman of District followed by a buffet tea.
- Saturday 2 July, 3.00pm Garden Party at 6 Welbeck Avenue, Littleborough. Admission £5.
- Saturday, 23 July, 3.00pm Oldham Community Choir, followed by light refreshments.
- Saturday, 1 October, 2.00pm Brain Teaser Quiz, followed by Pie and Peas. Admission £5.
- Saturday, 15 October, 2.00pm. Rochdale Borough Pop Choir followed by afternoon tea. Admission £5.
