Heywood Scouts learn to cook curry at JazBa Restaurant
Date published: 14 May 2016
Heywood Scouts visited JazBa Restaurant to learn how to cook curry.
Steve McNee from Heywood Scouts said: “Farooq Ahmed, the owner, was a great host. He gave a great talk on the hospitality industry and how it works. He then took us into the kitchen for cookery demonstrations on how to make Peshwarie naan, chicken tikka masala (with secret ingredients), chicken tandoori cooked in the tandoor oven and he also allowed Danny to create his own curry which we called 'Flaming Gregson'.
“A fabulous night and a massive thanks to Farooq for being a great host.”
