Rounder’s Teams

The Rounder’s season is now in 'full swing' with the various age groups playing 4 games this week.

The week started well with the Year 7 team winning their first ever game against St Anne’s Academy 12.5 - 5.5. The same team followed up this result with a nail biter against Cardinal Langley 11-10.

The Year 8 also got off to a great start to the year with a 19 - 3.5 victory against Kingsway Park. Unfortunately they were not quite able to capture the same sparkling form against

Cardinal Langley and lost the game in another tight finish 10.5-10.
The Year 9 team haven’t started quite as well and were defeated 11.5 - 3 against St Anne’s, but are looking forward to improving fortunes when they play again later this week.

The Year 10 team have made an outstanding start to the season with a 9 - 3 defeat of St Anne’s and a superb performance in the Greater Manchester Catholic Cup where they were narrowly defeated in the final by St Bede's after giving a brilliant account of themselves winning all their previous games.

Year 11 Prom

Year 11 pupils have been busy all week collecting signatures from their teachers for their Prom Passports. Those Year 11 pupils who have work hard all year, demonstrated outstanding behaviour and good attendance will receive their invites to prom next week alongside a letter with all the details pertaining to prom. Just the small thing of exams between now and then before our Year 11s can finally let their hair down.
