Claire Renton set for Face of Northwest England

Date published: 11 May 2016

Middleton beauty Queen Claire Renton has been selected as a finalist for Face of Northwest England, which if won could go see her through to the Face of Europe.

The finals, which are set for the end of June, will see contestants take part in three rounds, including modelling various fashionwear and going through interviews with the judges.

Claire said: “This will be the fourth pageant I’ve competed in and I’m so excited for the finals. Since starting pageants last year I think I’ve gained confidence and met people from all over the UK. It would be great to be able to compete worldwide and meet people from all over the world.”

She added: “Pageants have given me great opportunities, including the opportunity to raise over £1,500 for various charities in the space of a year.”

Last year Claire won 'Miss Charity' for Face of The Globe after raising the most amount in her age group.

Claire is planning a fundraising event in the next few weeks to raise funds for Headway East Kent, an independent charity working to provide social rehabilitation to adults with acquired brain injury.

The charity has been established for 25 years and has five day centres around the country.
