Beech House 7 – 12 St Anne’s

Beech House U15s played their first rounder’s match of the season against St Anne’s Academy.

On a cold and blustery evening with the weather showing signs from all seasons, the girls coped very well.

The first innings from St Anne’s saw some good bowling from Sara Karim to limit the whole team to 6 rounder’s, ably supported by some good catching and fielding from the other members of the team.

The response was positive and half rounder’s were picked up readily until Daisi Daniels hit a full rounder.

After the first innings, the score was St Anne’s 6, Beech house 3½.
The second innings went exactly the same way as the first, with St Anne’s shading it slightly, but full rounder’s coming from Daisi Daniels and Mehmoona Naqvi.

Well done to all the girls on an extremely promising start to the season. The final score was Beech House 7 St Anne’s 12.
