Status4all are delivering six new activities all based around creating an educational wonderland from taking care of wild life to growing your own fruit and vegetables.
Sue Smith, from Status, said: “We will be doing lots of activities throughout the year, starting on 28 July.
“Our aim is to educate children and young people on how to grow their own food and protect the wildlife.
“The activities will be based at Status 4 All Leisure Garden and Allotments off Latrigg Crescent on Langley.
“The challenge is they have to raise money themselves and all the money they raise will be for materials, equipment and volunteer expenses.
“Please help these young people to regenerate their community gardens and support the challenge in their task to bring our land back to life.”
