Littleborough Ladies Circle launch
The first quarter of 2016 has seen a new Ladies Circle group gathering momentum in Littlebrough.
Meeting twice a month, the circle officially launched on 8 April with a charter dinner held at the White House, Blackstone Edge. Attended by National Ladies Circle president Zoë Gaskell and Vice President Alex Bennett, the evening saw ladies from neighboring Hebden Bridge circle 190 join in.
Vickie Mason, Littleborough Chairwoman, said: “It’s been fab meeting so many ladies from different backgrounds and experiences. I have been completely overwhelmed by the response.
"In January I had never met any of these ladies before and now we meet every two weeks for fun and frolics.”
Littleborough and Areas Ladies Circle is one of over 130 groups within the UK, meeting twice a month to get involved in a wide variety of fun activities and charity events. Socially, local groups put their own events calendar together, to reflect the preferences of their members.
They also fund raise for their chosen charities.
