Springhill Hospice ‘Make a Will Week’

Date published: 18 April 2016

Springhill Hospice is urging people to write a will as part of this year’s ‘Make a Will Week'.

Taking place between 9-15 May, Make a Will Week will include contacts from Rochdale’s leading solicitors including Molesworth Bright Clegg, AST Hampson and Lancashire Law.

Louise Salisbury, from AST Hampsons, said: “Primarily we wanted to get involved to support Springhill Hospice. They are a very worthwhile charity and it is a good way to help them raise money.

"Also, it is a good way to encourage people to make a will. It is quite staggering the number of adults out there who don’t have a will and if you don’t have one, then your estate won’t go where you want it, so it is a good opportunity to encourage people to actually make a will.

“If people want to use AST Hampsons then they should make an appointment to come and see us or they can ring up and have an initial chat before making an appointment.”

The companies involved this year are:

  • Temperley Taylor LLP
  • Molesworth Bright Clegg
  • AST Hampsons Solictors
  • The Will-writing Partnership
  • Hartley Thomas and Wright
  • GLP Solicitors
  • Lancashire Law
  • Latimer Lee LLP
