Police and fire crews have launched a joint investigation after a house fire on Whitworth Road this morning (Tuesday 12 April).

Police dogs, fire crews and CSI (Crime Scene Investigation) teams have been on scene all morning as police officers cordoned off the area.

The house was ablaze at approximately 2.00am, with emergency services rushing to the scene shortly after.
