Deadline approaches for nominations for Diversity Awards

There is still time for local organisations, individuals and businesses to submit their nominations for the Rochdale Diversity Awards 2016.

The awards aim to recognise contributions made by individuals, groups and/or organisations in making progress within their organisations and/or communities towards inclusion, cohesion and diversity within the workplace and/or service provision.

The award categories for 2016 are: 

  • Cohesion Award - Sponsored by Rochdale Borough Council 
  • Workforce Diversity Award - Sponsored by Greater Manchester Police
  • Diversity in Apprenticeships - Sponsored by Rochdale Training
  • Diversity in Education Award - Sponsored by Falinge Park High School
  • Diversity in Health and Leisure Award - Sponsored by Healthwatch Rochdale
  • Diversity in Housing Award - Sponsored by Great Places Housing Group
  • Breaking Barriers Award - Sponsored by The Regenda Group
  • Voluntary & Faith Sector Award - Sponsored by CVS Rochdale
  • Outstanding Achievement in Diversity - Sponsored by The Police and Crime Commissioner for Greater Manchester

Nomination forms must reach KYP, Unique Enterprise Centre, Belfield Road, Rochdale, OL16 2UP by post or email (rda@kyp.org.uk) no later than 12 noon on Friday 8 April 2016.
