The Friends of Norden Jubilee Park, Green Group prepare the park ready for Spring
The Friends of Norden Jubilee Park, Green Group have been preparing the park ready for spring.
With the upcoming North West in Bloom competition approaching, the volunteers have been dead heading perennials and shrubs, weeding and generally tidying the park.
Paul Ellison, the chairman of the Friends of Norden Jubilee Park, said: "Each year the park is looking better and better, and hopefully we will score maximum this year."
The group needs volunteers to help.
