Heywood Lions celebrate 43rd birthday

Lion President Janet Brown and Lion Steve Brown, District Governor Lion Mike Bagnall and Lion President Dorothy Bagnall and Rotarian George Kinder and Mrs Yvonne Kinder
Heywood Lions celebrated their 43rd birthday with a lunch at the Broadfield Park Hotel on Sunday 20 March 2016.
Lions President Janet Brown along with fellow club members welcomed guests from all over the North West including Lions District Governor Mike Bagnall and his wife Lion President Dorothy Bagnall, Mayor and Mayoress Surinder and Cecile Biant, Heywood Rotary representative Rotarian George Kinder and Yvonne.
Liosn President Janet presented cheques to the Mayor for his charity fund and to Lions President Dorothy for her chosen charity “KOGS (Keeping Our Girls Safe). The overall aim of Keeping Our Girls Safe (KOGS) is to empower young people to choose healthy relationships and make positive life choices.
