Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service cut through the car to free the officer
A police officer had to be cut from his car after a collision on St Mary’s Gate last night (Wednesday 30 March).
The driver of a silver Seat lost control, crossed the central reservation and spun into the police car which was driving in the opposite direction.

The driver of the Seat is not thought to have been injured.
