Over 400 people turned out to enjoy the Norden Jubilee Park Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Bonnet Parade on Sunday (27 March).

The highlight of the afternoon for many of the small children was a visit from Peppa Pig and the Easter Bunny, both received many hugs and kisses from the toddlers and high fives from the older children.

There was lots of things to do, music, face painting, bouncy castle, Easter Bonnet competition and raffles.

Local councillors Jim Gartside and Peter Winkler were awarding prizes and giving away free chocolate.

Paul Ellison, Chairman of Friends of Norden Jubilee Park, said: "What an amazing event, it was overwhelming.

"To see so many children enjoying themselves made myself and my team extremely proud of holding this event.

"We would like to thank all that turning up and for their continuing support."

The Easter egg hunt event sponsors: Evergreen Landscapes, Carousel, Hiltons, Maskerade, Bridge chippy, PNS Landscapes, Doliz Miah Photography, Admiral Labels and Print and Flyde Kitchens and Granite.
